Liposuction Simulation
Patients seeking neck or body liposuction may benefit greatly from a computer simulation of the potential result. Computer simulation allows the surgeon to reshape the neck or body digitally and to give the patient an idea of the possible outcome from the liposuction procedure. Let's look at an example.
This young woman had a rather full neck that made her appear heavy and overweight. A digital photograph was taken and, using special morphing software, the chin and neck was modified to a more pleasing profile.

This patient elected to proceed with neck liposuction and below you can see the actual outcome of the surgery performed. The simulation above served in giving the patient a better visual idea of what Dr. Naficy was planning to perform.

This woman had fatty thighs and flanks, but was otherwise very fit. Liposuction digital photo simulations were done to demonstrate a new body contour that could be reasonably achieved with liposuction.

Liposuction simulations serve as an important tool in helping patients make a more informed decision. They are particularly important with our out of town patients. Dr. Naficy and Dr. Gottlieb perform a number of procedures on patient flying into Seattle from all over the country. Patients are invited to send their digital photographs to our surgeons allowing a virtual consultation.
During a virtual consultation, computer simulations of possible neck and body liposuction results can be done. These simulations can be reviewed with you over the phone or in our clinic.
